Not only for project managers
The label project manager identifies who (individual) in organizations is assigned to coordinate projects. Simply nominate someone in this role is the most traditional way and at the same time, more reductive to tackle projects. The term project management regards the organization as a whole, connoting a way of doing and thinking that affects the working behaviors and that in some cases it becomes part of the organizational culture. Speaking about project manager means consider projects as an individual responsibility; thinking in terms of project management recognizes that the success of projects is an organizational responsibility that should be exercised by each involved stakeholder, although within assigned task. The interpretive approach does not allow people to work passively; each stakeholder is a direct protagonist for projects success in the organization.
